Absolutely! Some of our rare beer baskets are open to online entries. We announce those a few weeks before the event, and draw the winner the day of the event.
A “whale” is a beer an individual has been looking to find and try for a long time (usually hard to find and highly rated). It pays homage to Captain Ahab’s quest to hunt down the great white whale, Moby Dick.

That’s no problem! There will be a variety of non-alcoholic as well as wine available to purchase. However it’s rare that even those who don’t drink beer don’t find something they enjoy at the share.
All proceeds go to Make-A-Wish® Central and Western NC, which helps grant wishes to children in our community. If you want to learn more about the organization, you can visit their website here.
Tickets usually go on sale about a month before the event. We send out the information via our mailing list, Facebook page, Instagram page, and the Facebook event for that year’s event. A ticket gets you entry to the event, a tasting glass, raffle tickets to place into baskets of your choice, and access to a ton of other festivities. Baskets range from rare beer, to local restaurant gift cards, and more.
You bet! If you enter the rare beer raffle baskets online and can’t attend the event, and we choose your number as the winner one of those baskets, we’ll ship you your beer for free.
Nope! We’ll have a list of names at the check-in table. Just bring an ID and we’ll cross your name off the list when you enter. If you purchase multiple tickets, you can tell us who to let in on your behalf.
